Footvolley is a world sport sensation. Skilful, striking and young are just some aspects that make footvolley a thrilling entertainment across all ages, genera and nations.

The Rio 2016 Footvolley World Tournament will be the largest event in footvolley history. Beginning only four days after the Olympic Games closing ceremony, it will be nationally broadcasted in Brazil and it will have the attention of world’s media that remain in Rio for the Paralympic Games.

The change in awareness after the 2014 world cup in Brazil has been amazing and Footvolley Australia is enjoying one of the most exciting periods in its history: growing number of players and fans, thrilling action and an ever-growing national following. All combined has led Footvolley to showcase during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in the Olympic Arena.

Footvolley Australia (FVA) is a not for profit Sporting Organisation formed to establish, guide and promote footvolley in Australia. Working closely with the community in NSW, WA, SA and SA, FVA aims to develop footvolley as a major world media and entertainment sport throughout Australia, plan and organise competitions, marketing and development activities. FVA along with international associations works to promote the growth of the game in order to bring the footvolley to Olympic level.
