Daylight saving time starts and Footvolley is pumping!

The Footvolley Australia report is back after a few weeks break.

Due to the start of Daylight Saving Time (DST) footvolley is on during the week. On the past few weeks there have been nice afternoon sessions and beautiful sunsets. There is nothing better than being able to play footvolley after work and enjoying the sunset on the beach.

According to the rising number of subscriptions we’re predicting a higher number of players when summer comes. In order for everyone to better enjoy our sessions FVA will organise the set up of two courts on the weekends. Court #1 for the more experienced players and court #2 for beginners and intermediate players. Intermediate players will be able to play on both nets depending on the number of players on each one. This is going to make the matches more competitive and consequently promote greater improvement.

FVA welcomed players coming from Cronulla and Byron Bay this weekend. We look forward to bring Footvolley Experience demonstrations to those beaches and joining them for friendly matches.

‘Altinha’ has been showing its benefits! For those who have kept ‘warm’ have been noticing high fitness levels, footvolley skills and ball control improvements, which have been crucial for when playing on the net. Let’s all continue the enthusiasm not only on the net but also in between matches at ‘Altinha’ practice!

We would like to invite all players and fans to FVA’s Christmas BBQ to be held on the 8th of December at Collaroy Beach (North end of Surf’s Rock car parking). It will start at 8am with footvolley matches followed by BBQ and lots of beer. We will keep you informed by sms.

The FVA team.
